1957 was a turning point in chemical history in that the NFPA, National Fire Protection Association, established a standardized label for emergency personnel to understand chemicals and their reactivity level. The diamond labels include four sections to denote flammability, health consideration, reactivity, and any other special precautions.
• NFPA approved labels for chemicals starting with letters C-F can keep labs safe in case of accidents, explosions, or leaks.

The labels worked fine. In the future, I will need larger labels.
