Make sure anything containing toxic PCB (Polychlorinated biphenyl) is properly marked with
PCB Labels. Even though PCB’s were effectively banned in the 70’s, many transformers and simpler electrical equipment still contain this deadly material. EPA regulation 40 CFR 761 mandates capacitors and transformers containing PCBs to be properly labeled.
-
• Caution labels alert workers for careful handling and disposal of PCBs.
- • Also find below, ‘Non-PCB Labels’ that help distinguish drums and containers that DO NOT contain PCB’s.
- • Each label has strong adhesive to bond well to drums.
